CJX2-1854 is a four-pole AC contactor model. It is a commonly used electrical device for controlling the on-off of a circuit.
The four levels of the model number mean that the contactor can switch on or off four phases of current at the same time.CJX stands for “AC contactor”, and the numbers that follow represent the specifications and parameter information of the product (e.g., rated voltage, operating current, etc.). In this example, CJX2 means that it is a two-pole AC contactor, while 1854 means that it is rated at 185A.

1. Rated voltage: This contactor is suitable for three-phase power supply of AC 50Hz, 690V or 750V.
2. Wiring method: CJX2-1854 usually adopts three-phase four-wire wiring system, i.e. three phase wires and four zero wires form a circuit for power supply. The current of each phase line should not exceed 10A, and the total load should not exceed 20kW.
3. Breaking capacity: CJX2-1854 has good breaking capacity and short-time overcurrent protection function, can withstand short-time high current impact without damage. Its maximum breaking capacity of 15kA, short-term withstand current up to 30kA.
4. Fixed-time and instantaneous characteristics: CJX2-1854 can be set up for fixed-time and instantaneous two modes of operation. Within the set time (e.g. 1 second), the contactor will automatically cut off the circuit; while in the instantaneous mode, when there is a fault or abnormal situation in the power grid, the contactor will trip immediately to protect the safety of the equipment.
5. Self-locking function: CJX2-1854 is equipped with self-locking function, i.e., a spring device is used to lock the position of the contactor in order to prevent malfunction caused by misoperation.
6. Explosion-proof performance: according to the relevant standards, CJX2-1854 should meet the requirements of explosion-proof level, and can be used normally in flammable gas, dust and other hazardous environments.
