LCK3-25 Definite Purpose Contactor
The LCK3-25 is marked LCK3-25/2 on the label, which identifies the two pole version. It is rated in the AC-8a utilisation category, the IEC category for hermetic refrigerant compressor motors with manual reset overload protection, so it fits refrigeration rather than general motor duty.
Current and Voltage
The label states 40A thermal current, 380V rated operational voltage and 32A rated operational current in AC-8a duty. Rated insulation voltage is 630V, and the conditional short circuit figure printed alongside is 240A.
Poles and Terminals
Two main poles, marked 1L1 and 3L2 on the line side and 2L1 and 4L2 on the load side, each with screw terminals plus spade tabs for push on connections. There is no auxiliary contact on this version.
Coil
The coil is 220V 50Hz, wired to A1 and A2. For 50/60Hz or other control voltages we build to order, so tell us the voltage before ordering.
Standards and Application
The contactor is built to GB17885 and IEC1095 and marked AC-8a. Tell us the compressor FLA, coil voltage and pole count and we will confirm the model.
