LCK3-30 Definite Purpose Contactor
The LCK3-30 carries the LCK3-30/1 marking, which identifies the single pole version. It is rated 30 FLA with 150A locked rotor at 240/277V, the usual size for single phase compressor and fan circuits in residential and light commercial equipment.
Contact Rating Per Pole
The label lists contact rating per pole as 30 FLA, 150A LRA and 40A resistive at 240/277V. At 480V the same pole is 30 FLA and 125A LRA, and at 600V 30 FLA and 100A LRA, with 40A resistive throughout.
Poles and Terminals
One main pole, marked 1/L1 in and 2/T1 out. Main connections are 6/32 screws with a torque of 22 in-lbs, 2.5 Nm, and spade tabs are provided alongside for push on wiring.
Coil
The coil is 208/240VAC 50/60Hz, wired to A1 and A2. Other control voltages are available to order, so confirm the voltage before placing an order.
Standards and Application
The contactor is marked AC-8a, the IEC category for hermetic refrigerant compressor motors. Tell us the compressor FLA, coil voltage and pole count and we will confirm the model.
