Duty: 40A in AC-7a and AC-1, 18A in AC-7b and AC-3, on a 63 thermal current.

Control power: 15 at 400V for AC-7a and 6kW at 400V for AC-7b.

Life and voltage: 100,000 electrical and 1 million mechanical operations, 500V insulation.

WTH8-40Z AC/DC Household Modular Contactor 40A

The WTH8-40Z is the 40A AC/DC modular contactor, built on the 63A thermal frame with a coil that accepts AC or DC control at 12V to 230V.

AC/DC Coil

AC-7a and AC-1 duty is 40A with 9kW at 250V and 15kW at 400V. AC-7b and AC-3 duty is 18A with 4kW at 250V and 6kW at 400V. Conventional thermal current is 63A.

Current Ratings

The coil is rated AC/DC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V and 230V, so a DC control circuit uses the same contactor as an AC one.

Life and Insulation

Electrical life is 100,000 operations and mechanical life 1 million, at 500V insulation. Power terminals take 1.5 to 6mm2 on this frame with 0.8 Nm torque.
