CJX2-F185 4P High Ampere AC Contactor 185A
The 4P version of the CJX2-F185 switches the neutral along with the three phases, which is what TN-S and TT installations ask for when the neutral has to be isolated with the load. Current ratings match the three pole model, and the frame is 40mm wider at the A dimension.
Pole Configuration
Four main poles, all rated 185A in AC-3 duty at 380/400V and 118A at 660/690V. Conventional thermal current in AC-1 duty is 275A. The fourth pole carries the neutral rather than an auxiliary signal.
Motor Capacity
Three-phase cage motors are rated 90kW at 380/400V and 110kW at 660/690V. The neutral pole is rated for the neutral current of the same load, so the contactor can be used ahead of equipment with line to neutral consumers.
Footprint
The A dimension grows from 171mm on the three pole model to 211mm on this one, with the same B and C dimensions and M8 main pole terminals. Panel layouts built for the three pole F185 need about 40mm more width.
Life and Protection
Electrical life is 1 million AC-3 operations and mechanical life 6 million, at up to 600 operations per hour. The matched fuse is an NT2 link rated 315A. Tell us the neutral current and coil voltage and we will confirm the model.
