30A 3 Pole Definite Purpose Contactor
A three pole definite purpose contactor for 30A three phase duty on rooftop units, condensing units and motor loads. Each pole carries 30 FLA with 125A locked rotor at 480V and 100A at 600V, and all three poles switch together from one coil.
Contact Rating Per Pole
Per pole the rating is 30 FLA and 150A LRA at 240/277V, 30 FLA and 125A LRA at 480V, 30 FLA and 100A LRA at 600V. Resistive rating is 40A per pole at all three voltages.
Coil and Control
Standard coil is 208-240VAC 50/60Hz. Coils for 24, 120 and 480VAC are available in the same frame, so one panel design can serve different control voltages.
Terminals and Mounting
Main terminals are 10-32 screws on the 30 FLA frame, with box lug and pressure plate options on the larger frames. The base uses the NEMA mounting pattern, and NO or NC end switch kits can be added for HVAC sequencing.
Life and Ambient Range
Life rating is 100,000 or 250,000 cycles depending on version, and the contactor operates from -40 degrees F to +150 degrees F, or -40 to +65 degrees C. Tell us the FLA, coil voltage and pole count and we will confirm the model.
