30 FLA 3 Pole Definite Purpose Contactor
The three pole 30 FLA contactor is the standard replacement for three phase rooftop and condensing units, with each pole rated 30 FLA and 125A locked rotor at 480V. Terminals are marked 1L1, 3L2, 5L3 on the line side and 2T1, 4T2, 6T3 on the load side, matching the numbering printed on the label.
Contact Rating Per Pole
At 240/277V each pole is 30 FLA and 150A LRA, at 480V 30 FLA and 125A LRA, and at 600V 30 FLA and 100A LRA. The resistive rating stays at 40A per pole across all three voltages, which covers electric heat banks as well as compressor loads.
Coil and Control
The standard coil is 208-240VAC 50/60Hz, with 24, 120 and 480VAC coils available in the same frame. Coil terminals are separate spade connections marked A1 and A2, so the control circuit is wired independently of the main poles.
Terminals and Mounting
Main terminals are 10-32 screws on the 30 FLA frame, tightened to the torque printed on the label. The NEMA mounting base takes the standard bracket, and NO or NC end switch kits can be fitted for sequencing.
Life and Standards
Life rating is 100,000 or 250,000 cycles, and the contactor is built to GB14048.4 and IEC60947. Tell us the FLA, coil voltage and pole count and we will confirm the model.
