WTH8-40 Household Modular Contactor 40A
The WTH8-40 is the 40A size of the WTH8 modular range, on the wider 63A thermal frame. It carries 40A in AC-1 and AC-7a duty with 7.5kW at 230V and 26kW at 400V, which covers sub distribution and larger heating circuits.
Current Ratings
AC-1 and AC-7a rating is 40A, with 63A conventional thermal current on the frame. Motor duty, AC-3 and AC-7b, is rated 15A with 3kW at 230V and 7.5kW at 400V.
Coil Operation
This size is coil operated only. Rated insulation voltage is 500V and operating voltage is 250V for two pole and 400V for four pole versions.
Module Width and Mounting
The 40 to 63A frame is 36mm wide in the 2 pole version and 54mm in the 4 pole version, against 18mm and 36mm on the smaller frame, so allow two or three modules on the rail.
