CJX2D12 Interlock Magnetic Contactor 12A
The CJX2D12 interlock version is built for reversing and changeover starters, where a mechanical interlock keeps two contactors from closing at the same time. It carries 12A in AC-3 duty on a 25A thermal frame and uses the LC1D terminal layout.
Switching Data
AC-3 rating is 12A with 690V insulation and 690V rated operating voltage. Motor power is 3kW at 220/230V, 5.5kW at 380/400V and 415/440V, 7.5kW at 500V and 660/690V. Inching and plugging duty drops to 1.5kW at 220/230V and 3.7kW at 380/400V.
Coil Circuit
The coil draws 70VA on inrush and 8VA while holding. Pick-up happens between 85% and 110% of rated coil voltage, and drop-out between 20% and 75%, so a sagging supply does not chatter the contacts.
Auxiliary Contacts
One NO and one NC auxiliary contact are rated 10A conventional thermal current, with AC-15 switching capacity of 360VA and DC-13 rating of 33W. That covers holding circuits and interlocking feedback without extra relays.
Life Expectancy
