Model: WTH8-16Z AC/DC Household Modular Contactor, 16A, one coil for AC and DC control.

Coil: AC/DC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V and 230V, no separate DC variant needed.

Duty: 16A in AC-7a and AC-1, 6A in AC-7b and AC-3, on a 32 thermal current.

Control power: 6 at 400V for AC-7a and 2.2kW at 400V for AC-7b.

Life and voltage: 100,000 electrical and 1 million mechanical operations, 500V insulation.

WTH8-16Z AC/DC Household Modular Contactor 16A

The WTH8-16Z is the AC/DC version of the 16A modular contactor: the same coil accepts 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V or 230V in either AC or DC, so one part number covers control circuits that mix AC and DC supplies.

AC/DC Coil

In AC-7a and AC-1 duty the rating is 16A with 3.5kW at 250V and 6kW at 400V. In AC-7b and AC-3 duty it is 6A with 1.4kW at 250V and 2.2kW at 400V. Conventional thermal current is 32A.

Current Ratings

The coil is rated AC/DC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V and 230V. A DC control supply does not need a separate DC coil variant, which is the practical difference from the standard WTH8-16.

Life and Insulation

Electrical life is 100,000 operations and mechanical life 1 million. Rated insulation voltage is 500V, operating voltage 250V for two pole and 400V for four pole, with eight hour basic duty.
