CJX2-D170 High Ampere AC Contactor 170A
The CJX2-D170 is the largest of the three compact D frames, carrying 170A and a 250A thermal current in a 2.25kg body. Above this size the D series moves to a wider housing, so the D170 is the practical ceiling for tight panels.
Motor Ratings
Normal duty covers 55kW at 220/240V, 90kW at 380/400V, 100kW at 400V, and 110kW at 500V and 600/690V. At 1000V the rating is 100kW. That range suits 90kW fans, mixers and hydraulic power units.
Duty and Life
Inching and plugging duty is rated 22kW at 200/230V, 40kW at 380/400V, 45kW at 440V and 51kW at 500V. The wider contact gap of the D frame keeps arc time short when the contactor is asked to break locked rotor current.
Terminals and Space
Terminals accept 120mm² cable and the body measures 132 x 120 x 158 mm, so three ratings of the compact D frame share one footprint. Weight stays at 2.25kg.
