Service life: 1 million mechanical and 100,000 electrical operations.

CJ19 Capacitor Switching Contactor 32A for Power Factor Correction

The CJ19 is a capacitor switching contactor built for reactive power compensation in distribution panels. The 32A version switches capacitor banks on a 380/400V bus with restrained inrush, which keeps contacts clean and extends bank life.

Capacitor Duty

Capacitors draw high inrush when they close, so a standard contactor wears fast in this duty. The CJ19 handles 20Ie restrained surge capacity and carries 23A at AC-6b, matching the switching stress of capacitor banks.

Capacitor Capacity

The 32A model switches up to 20kvar at 380/400V and 26kvar at 660/690V. Smaller and larger versions cover 6.7kvar to 130kvar across the series, so bank sizes scale without changing the control scheme.

Coil and Control

Controlled power voltage covers 110V, 127V, 220V and 380V. Ten-amp auxiliary contacts handle the controller signal without a separate relay.

Mechanical and Electrical Life

The contactor reaches 1 million mechanical operations and 100,000 electrical operations at up to 120 switching cycles per hour. Send your bank size and coil voltage to WTAIDQ for a quote.
