Rated current: CJX2-1210 AC Contactor 12A, rated 12A at AC-3 380/400V and 8.9A at 660/690V on a 20A thermal frame.

Motor power: Switches 5.5kW three-phase motors at 380/400V, 3kW at 220V and 7.5kW at 660V.

Contact arrangement: Three main poles plus one NO auxiliary contact, rated 10A at AC-15 380V and DC-13 220V.

Coil: AC 36V, 110V, 127V, 220V or 380V, pick-up at 85% to 110% Us and drop-out at 20% to 75% Us.

CJX2-1210 AC Contactor 12A for 5.5kW Motor Switching

The CJX2-1210 is a 12A AC contactor with three main poles and one normally open auxiliary contact. It sits in the middle of the CJX2 range, where 5.5kW motors at 380/400V are the common load in pumps, fans and small machine tools.

Contact Arrangement

The model code reads 1210, so the auxiliary block carries one NO contact and no NC contact. That contact is rated 10A at AC-15 380V and DC-13 220V, with control capacity of 360VA AC-15 and 33W DC-13, which covers a holding circuit or a pilot lamp without an extra relay.

Current and Motor Sizes

AC-3 rating is 12A at 380/400V and 8.9A at 660/690V, driving 3kW at 220V, 5.5kW at 380/400V and 7.5kW at 660V. AC-4 rating drops to 5A at 380V and 2A at 660V for plugging and inching duty, and the 20A thermal current keeps margin over the rated load.

Coil Circuit

Coil voltages cover AC 36V, 110V, 127V, 220V and 380V. Pick-up needs 85% to 110% Us and drop-out falls between 20% and 75% Us, so the contactor rides through supply dips without chatter. Closing power is 70VA, holding power 8VA, and coil loss is 1.8W to 2.7W.

Life and Panel Fit

Electrical life is 1 million operations at AC-3 and 200,000 at AC-4, with 10 million mechanical operations and up to 1200 operations per hour on AC-3 duty.
