CJX2-6511Z DC Contactor for DC Circuit Control
The CJX2-6511Z is a DC Contactor 65A rated for DC circuit switching in motor control, battery-backed loads and industrial panels. The Z series runs on a DC coil, which suits control systems that already operate on a DC supply.
DC Coil Control
Rated control voltage spans 24V to 660V DC, with pick-up at 85% to 110% of rated voltage and release at 10% to 75%. The DC coil avoids the buzz and heat of an AC coil and keeps the control side simple in DC-powered cabinets.
Rated Current and Power
In AC-3 duty the contactor carries 65A at 380/400V and 42A at 660/690V, with a rated heat current of 80A. Controllable power reaches 30kW at 380/400V and 37kW at 500V.
Arc Handling for DC Loads
DC switching brings arc-suppression considerations that AC circuits do not have. The CJX2-6511Z uses arc suppression to interrupt DC current reliably, in 3-pole and 4-pole versions.
