Rated current: CJX2D40 New Type Magnetic Contactor 40A, with a 60A thermal current in AC-3 duty.

Motor power: 18.5kW at 380/400V, 22kW at 415/440V and 500V, 30kW at 660/690V, 11kW at 220/230V.

Heavy duty: 9kW at 380/400V for inching and plugging duty, 11kW at 500V, 15kW at 660/690V.

Endurance: 800,000 AC-3 and 150,000 AC-4 electrical operations, 6 million mechanical, 1000 times per hour.

Coil and contacts: 200VA inrush and 20VA holding, one NO and one NC auxiliary rated AC-15 360VA.

CJX2D40 New Type Magnetic Contactor 40A

The CJX2D40 moves the CJX2D range to a 1000V insulation frame without changing the LC1D style terminal layout. At 40A AC-3 and 60A thermal it drives 18.5kW motors at 380/400V and 30kW at 660/690V.

Current and Power

AC-3 current is 40A with rated insulation and operating voltage of 1000V. Motor power is 11kW at 220/230V, 18.5kW at 380/400V, 22kW at 415/440V and 500V, and 30kW at 660/690V.

Heavy Duty

For inching and plugging duty the frame is rated 4kW at 220/230V, 9kW at 380/400V, 11kW at 500V and 15kW at 660/690V, which suits hoists and reversing drives.

Coil Loading

Coil inrush is 200VA and holding power 20VA. Pick-up sits between 85% and 110% of rated voltage and drop-out between 20% and 75%. Auxiliary contacts are one NO plus one NC, rated 10A at AC-15 360VA and DC-13 33W.

Life and Duty

Electrical life is 800,000 operations at AC-3 and 150,000 at AC-4, mechanical life 6 million, at up to 1000 operations per hour. Tell us the motor rating and coil voltage and we will confirm the model.
