CJX2K-16 AC Contactor 16A IEC/UL
The CJX2K-16 is the largest of the four CJX2K frames, at 16A AC-3 at 380V and 12A at 660V. It keeps the 20A thermal rating and the same control circuit options as the smaller sizes, so a panel can use one coil stock across the range.
Current and Voltage
Rated operational current is 16A AC-3 at 380V and 12A at 660V, on 20A agreed heating current. Rated working voltage is 380/660V and rated insulation voltage 690V.
Coil and Control Circuit
Coils are offered for AC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V, 220V and 380V. Pull-in takes 0.85 to 1.1 times rated control voltage and release sits between 0.2 and 0.75 times. Inrush power is 40VA, holding 4VA, dissipation 1.2W, pull-in time 6 to 18ms and release time 5 to 12ms.
Life and Auxiliary Contact
AC-3 electrical life is 500,000 operations at up to 1200 per hour, AC-4 life is 100,000 operations at 300 per hour, and mechanical life is 10 million. The auxiliary contact is rated 5A conventional thermal current with 500,000 AC operations.
