WXU-03 Phase Failure and Phase Sequence Relay for Fixed Settings
The WXU-03 sits on the incoming side of a three phase load and holds its contact in while the phase order is right and all three phases are present. There is nothing on the face to set, which is the point of the model: the panel keeps the same protection after a service visit as it had on the day it was built.
Nothing to Adjust
Panels that go out in numbers, or that get serviced by whoever is on call, lose their settings sooner or later. This version carries no potentiometers at all, so there is no voltage step, no threshold and no delay to be turned by mistake. The unit is supplied for the line voltage of the order, and the face shows only the supply lamp and the output lamp.
What It Checks
Phase sequence and phase loss are read across L1, L2 and L3, with the supply to the relay itself taken from L1 and L2 on the same three terminals. An open phase is detected at 70% of the rated voltage. Measurement runs from 45Hz to 65Hz with an error of 1% or less, so a supply that is sagging on one phase is separated from one that is simply low on all three.
Output Contact and Wiring
The output is a single changeover contact on terminals 11, 12 and 14, rated 10A thermal current and 250V 2.5A under AC-15, which is enough for a contactor coil or a shunt trip. Minimum switching power is 500mW, so a low level input to a controller also works. A red lamp on the face shows the output state and a second lamp shows the supply.
Panel Fit
The body is one 18mm module for a 35mm rail, rated insulation voltage 500V and rated impulse withstand 2.5kV. Mechanical life is 10 million operations and electrical life 100,000 at resistive load. The body carries CE and CCC marking. Send your line voltage, the load it protects and the quantity to WTAIELE for a quote.
