WXU-06 Voltage Monitoring Relay with Phase Asymmetry Supervision
The WXU-06 watches three things at once: the line voltage, the window around it, and the balance between the three phases. That third reading is the one that catches a failing joint or a blown capacitor bank before the motor winding gives up.
Why Asymmetry Deserves Its Own Dial
An unbalanced supply shows normal line to line voltages at the terminals while one winding carries far more current than the others. Thermal damage follows within hours on a loaded motor. The Asy dial sets the threshold from 5% to 15%, so a plant with a soft supply can run at the loose end of the range while a machine with a critical motor is set tight.
The Voltage Window Beside It
Un is selected in eight steps from 220V to 460V. The over and under voltage dials are set from 2% to 20% either side of that value with a fixed 2% hysteresis, so the output stays put when the supply hovers at the limit. An open phase is detected at 70% of the rated voltage, with 165V as the floor of that setting.
Accuracy and Response
The measuring circuit covers 45Hz to 65Hz with an error of 1% or less and a range of 176V to 552V. Knob setting accuracy is 10%, power on delay is 0.5 seconds and reset time is 1 second. All four dials are adjusted through the front of the module with a screwdriver, so no cover has to come off.
Output and Panel Fit
The output is a changeover contact on 11, 12 and 14, rated 10A thermal current and 250V 2.5A under AC-15, with a minimum switching power of 500mW. Insulation voltage is 500V and impulse withstand 2.5kV, mechanical life 10 million operations against 100,000 electrical. A green lamp marks the supply and a red lamp the output state. One 18mm module fits a 35mm rail, and the body carries CE and CCC marking. Send your unbalance limit, line voltage and quantity to WTAIELE for a quote.
