Q5-100 4P Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch for 100A Sub-Boards
The Q5-100 changes a 100A sub-board between a mains supply and a standby supply. Two four pole contact sets are linked by a motor drive, so one source is closed while the other is open, and a lever on the front face makes the same change by hand.
Why the Lever Matters at 100A
Sub-boards are often commissioned before the control supply is live, and they are often worked on by someone who does not carry the control fuse. A lever that reaches both positions without the motor turns that into one movement. The I-O-II knob at the centre of the cover shows which source is closed, and the lever stows against the cover when the work is done.
Withstand and Making Capacity
Rated short-time withstand current is 5kA for 30ms and rated short-circuit making capacity is 8kA, so the switch rides through the fault level of a sub-distribution board and leaves clearing to the breaker ahead of it. Utilization category AC-33B covers motor and mixed loads under infrequent transfer. The body is PC class and carries no overcurrent element of its own.
Four Poles with a Switched Neutral
The fourth pole carries the neutral, which keeps a shared neutral from tying the two sources together when the standby supply has its own bond. Terminals repeat A, B, C and N at both ends, so the outgoing cables follow the order of the incoming ones.
Voltage Class and Panel Fit
Rated operational voltage is 400V AC at 50Hz, rated insulation voltage 690V and rated impulse withstand 6kV. The 220V motor sits on the cover and the frame fixes to a panel plate. The body carries CE and CCC marking. Send the load current, the source arrangement and the panel layout to WTAIELE for a quote.
