WTM1 Multifunction Time Relay with Ten Functions on One Dial
The WTM1 covers the timing jobs a panel builder meets most often on one 18mm body. A function knob selects from ten modes marked A to J, a range knob sets the decade and a percentage knob trims inside it, so one part number stands in for a shelf of single function timers.
Ten Functions, One Part Number
Five of the modes are set by the supply at A1 and A2, four take their start from an external input at the S terminal, and one latches. Each letter on the function knob has its symbol printed beside it on the face, so a fitter sets the mode by reading the relay rather than by opening a manual. A panel with several timing jobs can be built from one stock line rather than one line per job.
Ranges from 0.1 Second to 10 Days
The range knob covers ten steps from tenths of a second up to days, and the percentage knob trims inside the chosen step. Setting accuracy is 10% and repeat accuracy 0.2%, which suits sequencing, fan overrun and pump cycling. A green lamp shows the supply and a red lamp shows the output state.
Supply, Contact and Reset
A1 and A2 take AC or DC from 12 to 240V, so a 24V DC panel and a 230V AC panel use the same item, at 0.09 to 3VA on AC and 0.05 to 1.7W on DC. The output is one delay contact set on 15, 16 and 18, rated 16A thermal current and 250V 5A under AC-15, with a minimum switching power of 500mW. Reset takes 200ms at most. Mechanical life is 10 million operations and electrical life 100,000 at resistive load.
Panel Fit
18mm wide and 90mm deep, one module on a 35mm rail, rated -20°C to +55°C at IP20. Terminals accept one 2.5mm² or two 1.5mm² conductors at 0.4N·m. The two contact version of the same frame is the WTM2. Send your sequence, supply voltage and quantity to WTAIELE for a quote.
